Import Strava activities and overlay them on your videos
Take a ride or run you have already uploaded to Strava and turn it into a video overlay. Export the activity as a GPX, TCX or FIT file and StintBox reads GPS, heart rate, power, cadence and altitude straight out of it.

In June 2026 Strava began charging developers a subscription for API access. We have chosen not to pass that cost on, so StintBox does not connect to Strava accounts for the time being. Everything else on this page still applies: export the activity from Strava and import the file into StintBox. We will look at account connection again if Strava's terms change.

How it works
Export from Strava
Open the activity on Strava, then use Export GPX from the actions menu. TCX and FIT work too and carry more channels.
Import the file
Drop the file into StintBox together with your video. It reads GPS, heart rate, power, cadence and altitude.
Add performance widgets
Overlay heart rate, power zones, cadence arcs, and speed graphs on your footage.
Share your ride
Export and publish your overlay video, or share it on your StintBox profile.

Not at the moment. Strava now charges developers a subscription for API access and we have chosen not to pass that cost on. File import gives you the same data with no account link and no limit, and we will revisit the connection if Strava's terms change.
No. StintBox works with free Strava accounts. You can export any of your own activities as a file, whatever your subscription.
FIT keeps the most: heart rate, power, cadence, temperature and lap times. TCX keeps most of it. GPX is the most widely supported but is essentially position and time.
StintBox compares the start time in the file with your video and aligns them for you. You can also nudge the offset by hand in the sync view.
They export exactly like public ones. Strava lets you download your own activities regardless of visibility, and the file never leaves your machine.
